The Signal Point

Taken from the central point of the K3 mark, the Signal Point is a subtle triangular cut-out used as a recurring detail across icons, buttons and graphic elements.

The Signal Point acts as a directional cue – signalling focus, progression and intent within the wider design system. It reinforces direction and guidance: a consistent signal of movement and clarity across K3 communications.

The Signal Point is not a standalone shape, but a recurring micro-device embedded within the K3 system. It should never be treated as part of the core shape set.

The Signal Point is:

  • Functional
  • Embedded
  • Directional

The Signal Point is not:

  • A container or mask
  • A decorative motif

The Signal Point may be rotated in 45-degree increments only. Its size, position and colour are always relational to the parent element – never arbitrary.

Icons include Signal Point cut-outs to make them unique to the K3 design system.
